I Can’t Stand It – Blossoms Song Review

VO5 NME Awards - VIP Arrivals

★★★★☆

The Stockport boys are back (even after the twitter spat between Tom Ogden and Joe Donovan, which was hilarious). Blossoms have really hit the heights since releasing their first album, selling out Castlefield Bowl, playing the Main Stage at Reading+Leeds, even showcasing their tunes on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury!

Well they’ve given us a little taste of the upcoming second album “Cool Like You”, which is due to be released on 27th April, with the released single “Can’t Stand It”.

The song really has the hallmark of Blossoms written all over it, a classic indie-pop sound with a catchy melody alongside the soothing voice of Tom Ogden. It has the potential to be up there with some of the bands best work like “Charlemagne” and “Honey Sweet” and truly be a crowd favourite.

Even front man Tom Ogden admits “It’s one of the my favourite tunes we’ve ever done!”

You can listen to “I Can’t Stand It” on Spotify right now:
